RAMAps is the collective brainchild of successful web entrepreneurs Robertson Price and Maurizio Giunti.  RAMAps projects stress chalkboard design and development to get simple, useful Web tools to market as quickly as possible (RAM those Aps into market!).  Projects follow four basic courses of development:

  1. Identify a need or an opportunity that can be tested on an extreme budget
  2. Define a test to validate that need or opportunity
  3. Examine data and conclude to either invest in further development or stop
  4. Repeat steps 1-3 for every level of development

Each web application has its own unique advantages and opportunities, each has its own drawbacks and fail points.  We believe the market and web users in aggregate seem to know what works and what doesn’t better than we do.  As a result, RAMAps projects start with the basic understanding that we know nothing… We believe this until statistically relevant data is available to tell us something about our project. Because we know nothing until we have data, we also don’t waste time at the start trying to develop every possible user comfort.
As a result of this methodology, RAMAps projects often appear very basic in their first couple iterations. PLEASE BEAR WITH US!!  You see, after each iteration we have a bit more data and get a bit smarter and the next version does work a bit better.
